Photography has always been a part of Nathalie’s life. Her father was passionate about photography and he gave her her first camera when she was seven. She has been taking pictures ever since and has been working as a professional photographer starting in 2006.

Nathalie specializes in corporate events, portraiture and lifestyle photography and is passionate about teaching and community-building. As the founder of the Tame Your Fujifilm workshop series designed for new users of the FUJIFILM system, she offers one-on-one tuition for photographers wanting to master their craft.

She runs her own YouTube channel where she talks about a variety of photography-related topics in the live broadcast series “Photo Chats with Nats”. She is also the co-founder of SOOC.Live – a creators’ community and collaboration between her and Fuji X-Weekly. During the monthly live broadcasts they take a first-hand deep dive into the exciting world of using custom film simulation recipes that help to achieve gorgeous results straight-out-of-camera.

Nathalie is based in Johannesburg, South Africa and is the first woman to be appointed as an X-Photographer in Africa.

NATHALIE BOUCRY – Who am I?

All of this is my dad’s fault. He wasn’t only French, loved red wine and strong cigarettes, but he also loved photography. He had been taking pictures all his life and made sure that he would pass on his passion to me very early on in my life. I was only 8 when he gave me my first camera and I haven’t stopped taking photographs ever since….

Fujifilm Non-Stop or How I survived the 24 Hour Project 2018

Last year I took part in the 24 Hour Project for the first time and it was so crazy that I professed I would not do it again.

Low and behold, this year I found myself slap-bang right in the middle of co-organising a group for the 2018 event. How did that happen? Well, I asked myself the same question.

It all started with a camper van…..
