The X Series, in South Africa.

A camera
for image-makers.

Legendary Fujifilm colour science, dial-led design and film simulations photographers swear by — from pocketable X Series bodies to large format GFX.

Inside the X Series

Ninety years of imaging science, in your hand.

Every X Series body shares the same DNA — a deliberate, dial-led approach to photography, backed by nine decades of Fujifilm imaging science.

40.2 MP
X-Trans CMOS 5 HR
Back-illuminated for more light at every photosite. The highest-resolution sensor in the X Series. 14-bit RAW, no optical low-pass filter — the X-Trans colour array does the heavy lifting.
7.0 stops
5-axis IBIS
Five-axis in-body image stabilisation rated to 7.0 stops. Slower shutter speeds, handheld. Available across the X-H2, X-H2S, X-T5, X-T50, X-S20 and X-E5.
40 fps
Blackout-free burst
Blackout-free continuous shooting with the electronic shutter and AF tracking throughout. Powered by the stacked X-Trans CMOS 5 HS sensor in the X-H2S.
8K 30p
ProRes internal
8K/30p 4:2:2 10-bit internal recording on the X-H2, including Apple ProRes to CFexpress Type B. F-Log2 and HLG built in.
5.76 M dots
OLED viewfinder
The X-H2 and X-H2S carry a 5.76-million-dot OLED electronic viewfinder with 0.8× magnification and refresh rates up to 120 fps.
20 simulations
Film simulations
Provia, Velvia, Astia, Classic Chrome, Acros, Nostalgic Neg., Reala Ace and more — nine decades of Fujifilm colour science applied in-camera, from wedding portraits to street monochrome.

Light, rendered the Fujifilm way.

A look inside X-Trans CMOS.

The sensor

X-Trans CMOS. Colour, born in camera.

Fujifilm's X-Trans sensor uses an aperiodic colour filter array inspired by silver-halide film grain — no optical low-pass filter, sharper images and colour rendering shaped by decades of film making.

Cover glass
Microlens array
X-Trans color filter
Back-illuminated photodiode
Stacked DRAM + logic
Cover glass Anti-reflective coated
Optical glass seals the sensor. Anti-reflective coatings reduce flare and ghosting before light reaches the microlenses.
