WAYNE ROBERTSON: Thoughts on the Fujifilm X-T3

After testing out the X-H1, street photographer Wayne Robertson progressed onto the X-T3 as he’s making his way through the Fujifilm X-Series line-up. Check out his thoughts and images.

The second camera I got to check out in the Fujifilm range was the X-T3. I once again used it predominantly to shoot street photography and found the focusing was quick, which made it a breeze to be out on the street with, even in lower light situations.

I really enjoyed the touch-focus on the 3.2-inch back LCD.  While the screen doesn’t fully articulate, it still managed to be more than enough in certain situations. The 26-megapixel APS-C sized X Trans sensor produced some gorgeous looking images packed with deep colour and detail.

Finally, the grip on the X-T3 was nice as well, I loved the way the camera felt in my hands and the dual card slots was a major plus for me. Battery life unfortunately was average at best. That said, paired with the FUJIFILM XF 10-24mm f/4 R OIS lens the Fujifilm X-T3 is definitely a camera I would add to my arsenal.
