X-T50 follows the X100VI with a classic, dial-based design. The body weighs just 438g including battery and card, and a new rounded shape makes it feel smaller in the hand than it is — the thumb rest extends further out than previous X Series models for a firmer hold.

Design — 01

A classic body, brought up to date

X-T50 inherits the design that closely resembles a classic film camera, in a compact body with ergonomic styling. Slightly larger than the X-T30 II it replaces, the rounded shape keeps it comfortable without compromising handling.

The all-new Film Simulation dial sits on the top plate, so choosing a look is as simple as turning it. Twenty modes are built in — including the latest REALA ACE — alongside a custom position for a personalised favourite.

Handling — 03

Set up before you switch on

Shutter speed, exposure compensation and Film Simulation all live on the top plate. Together with the aperture ring on most XF lenses, settings can be checked and adjusted with the camera off — leaving you to concentrate on the image.
