Features

What it does, and why that matters

A compact, original X-mount wide-angle
Portability — 01

A compact, original X-mount wide-angle

One of the smallest and lightest lenses in the XF range, at just 116g — an easy lens to leave mounted for everyday carry without the wide-angle bulk of a zoom.

  • 27mm equivalent field of view, 76.5° angle of view
  • 8 elements in 7 groups, including 2 aspherical elements
  • Approximately 116g, excluding caps and hood
A dedicated macro focus mode
Close focus — 02

A dedicated macro focus mode

Switching into macro mode brings the minimum focus distance down to 18cm, letting the lens double up for close-in detail shots without a separate macro lens.

  • Normal focus 0.8m to infinity, macro 0.18m to 2.0m
  • Maximum magnification 0.14x
  • 7 rounded diaphragm blades
A simple, all-metal build
Handling — 03

A simple, all-metal build

A compact all-metal barrel keeps the lens durable and pocketable, well suited to a minimal travel kit or as a lightweight second lens.

  • ø64.5mm × 33.7mm (diameter × length)
  • Maximum aperture F2, minimum F16
  • ø52mm filter thread
