Kreesan Naidoo
Kreesan Naidoo is a passionate photographer based in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal. By day, he navigates the corporate world; by night (and every spare moment in between) he’s behind the lens – capturing life as the Fujifilm Ninja. This from a nickname that began as an inside joke and has since become part of his creative identity.
Specialising in portraiture, weddings, studio and automotive photography, Kreesan brings a strong sense of mood, personality and composition to his work. He also has a growing fascination with lunar photography, constantly chasing the perfect frame of the moon as it lights up the South African sky. Kreesan also likes to challenge himself with his portrait work by pairing unique lens and camera setups to achieve results, showcasing the possibilities that can be created using various combinations.
Kreesan’s connection with Fujifilm was instant, driven by the camera’s unique rendering of tones and textures, and further inspired by the emotive pull of in-camera film simulations like Classic Chrome, Acros and Classic Negative.
Whether framing elegance in a portrait, or capturing the essence of a wedding, Kreesan brings energy, precision and a cinematic eye to every frame.
