Pierre vd Walt – Why I shoot the Fujinon XF56mm F1.2
FujiFilm X-Photographer Pierre vd Walt recently completed an assignment in conjunction with Guess Jeans and Royal Enfield. The entire shoot was done on the FujiFilm X-T1 with the Fujinon XF56mm F1.2 lens.
When Pierre was asked why he specifically chose the XF56mm F1.2 for the job his answer was quite simple… “at F8 this is one of the sharpest lenses I’ve ever used, even when compared to Medium Format equipment. It has sort of become my go-to lens…”
This is another great example of why more and more professional photographers are using the FujiFilm X-Series equipment.
