X-Photographer – Neill Soden – My Favourite Fujinon Lens
The Fujinon 35mm f/1.4 is still the lens that I have a big soft spot for.
I do find the 23mm a bit more versatile, but the 35mm f/1.4 creates great, sharp images, with lovely, soft backgrounds.
This 50mm-equivalent focal length allows one to get very close to your subject and isolate it, without too much distortion on people’s faces.
At the same time allowing you to be just far enough to take candid, street or documentary-like photos, while keeping your camera small for every day use.
