Product Description
The Style of FUJIFILM X-T50
Classic Design
FUJIFILM X-T50 follows in the footsteps of the iconic X100VI with a classic, dial-based design. The compact body weighs just 438g (0.96lb)* and, thanks to ergonomic styling, it’s a joy to use wherever your creative journey takes you. *Including battery and memory card.
Rounded Body Shape
X-T50 incorporates a new, rounded body shape. While slightly larger than the predecessor X-T30 II model, the styling makes it feel small without compromising handling. The thumb rest extends smoothly outward compared to previous X Series models, providing an impressive overall feel and grip on the body.
Film Simulation Dial
X-T50 features an all-new Film Simulation dial. Positioned on the camera’s top-plate, the dial offers both popular presets and the opportunity to select a personalized favorite option via the custom setting. It’s never been easier for on-the-go creators to select one of 20 built-in unique Film Simulation modes, including the latest REALA ACE.
Optimized for Creativity
Dial Operation
X-T50 houses shutter speed, exposure compensation, and all-new Film Simulation dials on the top-plate. Together with the aperture ring on most XF lenses, settings can be checked and adjusted, even without turning the camera on, leaving you to concentrate on what matters most: making the perfect image.
Electronic Viewfinder
X-T50 features a 2.36 million dot electronic viewfinder (EVF) with a 0.62x magnification ratio. The specially designed lens elements provide a high-definition live view, and includes an adjustable diopter control to provide a truly comfortable experience.

Film Simulation
The 20 Film Simulation modes offered by X-T50, including the latest REALA ACE, harness 90 years of Fujifilm color science, digitally replicating the look of classic photographic film stocks. Reproduce the classic colors and tones Fujifilm is renowned for, or add artistic flair to your photographic journey.
PROVIA/STANDARD
Based on FUJICHROME PROVIA, a reversal film designed for professional use, this Film Simulation mode caters for all subject types, offering a neutral color reproduction.
Velvia/VIVID
Based on FUJICHROME Velvia, an ultra-vivid reversal film designed for professionals, this mode provides richer and more high-contrast colors than PROVIA/STANDARD. A favorite among landscape photographers.
ASTIA/SOFT
Based on FUJICHROME ASTIA, a reversal film designed for fashion portraiture, this mode prioritizes soft and faithful reproduction of skin tones, while also depicting vivid blue skies and greenery.
Classic Chrome
Designed to reproduce a look similar to documentary magazines of the 20th century. Classic Chrome’s low saturation and hard tonal gradation in shadows make it a perfect choice for documentary photography with a touch of realism.
REALA ACE
Based on REALA ACE, this latest addition to the Film Simulation lineup combines faithful color reproduction with hard tonality, making it suitable for all subjects and situations.
PRO Neg. Hi
Based on PRO160NH, a color negative film for professionals, this mode has slightly harder tonal gradation than PRO Neg. Std. It is mainly used in portrait photography where the ambient lighting is not easily controlled. It provides the right depth of shadows even under flat lighting.
CLASSIC Neg.
Based on SUPERIA, a color negative film loved by generations of photographers, this mode provides high-contrast tonal gradation. It adds depth and definition to colors by adjusting their shades in highlights and shadows, while reducing saturation.
NOSTALGIC Neg.
Designed to recreate the look of images in old photo albums, NOSTALGIC Neg. produces images with rich colors in the shadows – and a soft tonality through the midtones and highlights.
ACROS
Based on ACROS, a monochrome film renowned for super-fine grain, this mode delivers rich shadow details and excellent sharpness, while still adding grain at high ISOs, and recreating the stunning textured feel of monochrome.
ETERNA/CINEMA
Based on ETERNA, a film designed for motion pictures, this mode minimizes saturation to ensure no color overpowers another. It provides extremely soft tonal gradation in highlights, and deep shadows to prevent clipping, reproducing a cinematic look.
White Balance
Fine adjustments can be made to Auto White Balance (AWB) by selecting one of three modes: Auto, White Priority, and Ambience Priority. Set to White Priority, white is more likely to be accurately reproduced under incandescent lighting. However, when Ambience Priority is set, scenes will be photographed with the natural lighting characteristics of the scene preserved. Under incandescent lighting, this will generally result in images with warmer white tones.
Grain Effect
From subtle textures to the gritty look of traditional high-ISO film stocks, with X-T50 you can easily add natural-lookig grain to your photos. Control the strength and size for just the right amount of texture on any image.
Color Chrome FX Blue
Adds depth and naturally enhances the vividness of blue tones.
Color Chrome Effect
For highly saturated subjects, Color Chrome Effect adds depth, detail, and vibrancy in three strengths to red, green, or yellow tones where detail may otherwise be lost.
Clarity
The Clarity control lets you decide whether to recreate a scene with a crisp sharpness, defining edges and boosting contrast, or with a soft feel. With 11 levels of control, it’s easy to fine-tune to your personal taste and style.
Monochromatic Color
Monochromatic Color allows you to add subtle color to monochrome images by choosing to emphasize Warm/Cool tones and Magenta/Green hues. It’s the ideal way to add a personal touch to your black & white images.
Multiple Exposure
Layer up to nine images in Additive, Average, Comparative Light or Comparative Dark modes to combine multiple viewpoints or different points in time. Various settings, including Film Simulation modes, can be applied to each exposure to produce a unique creative result completely in-camera.
AUTO Mode
In AUTO mode, the camera automatically recognizes and sets optimal exposure settings for any scene. It also features auto subject detection where the camera automatically detects and tracks the subject, keeping it in focus. This eliminates the need to adjust the subject detection settings manually for easy image making. The AUTO mode can also be used for video.
Video Functionality
X-T50 offers advanced video performance in a compact, lightweight body. Create movies up to 6.2K internally at 30p in 4:2:2 10-bit color. 4K/60p and high-speed 1080/240p are also available, maximizing video flexibility.
Improved Subject Tracking
Track subjects in your videos with ease. Select AF-C mode with Wide/Tracking AF, then simply touch the subject on the rear LCD. FUJIFILM X-T50 will track the object, even in situations where multiple subjects appear in the frame.
F-Log2 Support
In addition to F-Log, X-T50 also supports F-Log2, which records an expanded dynamic range of 13+ stops.* This range is wider than current F-Log, broadening post-production potential.
*When recording F-Log2, based on Fujifilm internal testing.
