<p style="white-space: pre-wrap;">My name is Dillon, I’m a Wedding and portrait photographer. My approach is a blend of documentary and fine art. I got started in photography about 5 years ago when I moved to Cape Town. I fell in love with the city and I wanted to capture everything I saw. I bought an entry level DSLR and photographed absolutely everything…</p>

<p style="white-space: pre-wrap;">Hey… or as I like to say Aweh!</p><p style="white-space: pre-wrap;">I’m Lindsey, a Creative, I wasn’t always a Creative…. I think. A couple of years ago I quit the  “corporate” world put my head down, hustled, got my hands dirty, turned the ideas in my head into real images, put them out into the world and collaborated with amazingly cool people, when I looked up it was five years later and BAM that’s what I’m called these days…. a Creative….</p>

<p style="white-space: pre-wrap;">All of this is my dad’s fault. He wasn’t only French, loved red wine and strong cigarettes, but he also loved photography. He had been taking pictures all his life and made sure that he would pass on his passion to me very early on in my life. I was only 8 when he gave me my first camera and I haven’t stopped taking photographs ever since….</p>

<p style="white-space: pre-wrap;">Warning: The following facts are loosely based on experiences and lessons from a lifetime of over indulgences, humorous puns and obscene use of adjectives that makes up the life I live….</p>

<p style="white-space: pre-wrap;">I can’t draw and I can’t paint. And I tried, I really tried. I did however develop a love for great filmmaking, great story and that beautiful light. I swapped my surfboard for a skateboard when my mom, sisters and I moved to Bloemfontein and since then my skateboard has travelled with me everywhere…</p>

<p style="white-space: pre-wrap;">I often get asked when I started with photography. it is a question with many possible answers. I prefer to say photography found me when I was 5 years old. My dad had an SLR from somewhere in the 70’s which he let me hold, manually focus until the image was clear, and press the button. It was like time stood still for an eternity and that moment was cemented in my memory. from that day, I could not go anywhere without it being a visual safari of epic proportions…</p>

<p style="white-space: pre-wrap;">I’m a Soweto kid, grew up in Pimville. Inspired by urban culture. I started photography as an escape from my graphic design work...</p>

<p><a href="http://blog.nathalieboucry.com/collection/a-24-hour-photo-marathon/">Last year I took part in the 24 Hour Project for the first time</a> and it was so crazy that I professed I would not do it again.</p><p>Low and behold, this year I found myself slap-bang right in the middle of co-organising a group for the 2018 event. How did that happen? Well, I asked myself the same question.</p><p>It all started with a camper van…..</p>

<p>I could tell you that I started photographing for National Geographic aged 6-and-a-half months old, in Tanzania (on horseback), armed with only bug spray and two rolls of film… But that would be a blatant lie…..</p>
