Neill Soden – Fujifilm XF 16mm f/2.8

I’m usually using the much bigger Fujinon 16mm f/1.4 for my landscapes, so having its smaller and lighter brother, the Fujinon XF 16mm f/2.8to carry around was such a feast.

Since the f/1.4 was so big, on hikes and walks. I tended to opt for one of the smaller lenses that would not offer the same range. Weighing in at 155g, the 16mm f/2.8 is so much easier to carry around, and there was no doubt which lens would accompany us on walks from now on.

X-Photographer Emmanuel Ojo-Aromokundu on the X-T30

Starting with the build quality, the X-T30 is a fantastic camera. It’s small and compact, which should make it an amazing travel camera. That’s not to say it doesn’t work for regular professional work. For the photoshoot I did with Scarlet Ray the X-T30 really impressed with the image quality straight from the body.

TIM MOOLMAN – Huawei Joburg Day

Huawei Joburg Day in the Park ticked all the boxes for an unforgettable family day out.

The sun was out, the grass was green, and there was lots of space for Joburg’s youngest – and oldest - movers and shakers to play. PLUS an entire day of live music from some of SA’s biggest multi-generational artists.

PETER DELANEY: Surfing with the GFX

I have been a wildlife photographer for ten years and have used Fujifilm X series cameras for the last five. When Fujifilm launched the medium format GFX system, I was intrigued if I could use this system in my wildlife work. I have had to wait a while as I needed a lens with a bit more reach than GF 120mm. When Fujifilm released the GF 250mm, I could not wait to test it out, but I needed a project closer to home.
